the process steps

  • Transport to cell 1 with positioning & clamping
  • Two-sided milling & drilling on handle & keyhole
  • Afterwards, various lock case machining processes
  • Automated tool switch for linear milling (e.g. for lock case milling)
  • Forend milling for single & double forends as well as pre-drilling for forend fastening
  • Individual milling & pre-drilling for 3-5 compartment locking mechanisms
  • Optional milling for strike plates and latch bolts, as well as drilling for peepholes
  • Onward transport to cell 2
  • Lifting of the door up to max. 90° for chip removal using vibration device & dust extraction
  • Automated transport to cell 3 as well as positioning & clamping
  • Simultaneous removal of locks from magazine via robot and loading of assembly unit
  • Automated joining and screwing of locks, followed by onward transport to cell 4
  • Order-related drilling and milling as well as automated hinge assembly
  • Hinges are fed in automatically via magazines, which are loaded and replaced via robot
  • Outfeed and integrated surface cleaning of doors using a cross brush
